Kara is 14!

This last year has gone fast and Kara is growing up so fast! She turned 14 on March 14. It was a Saturday this year and she really wanted to go to lunch and shopping for her birthday. So she and I shopped got lunch and shopped again... We then picked up her friend Jenessa and met the girls and Gma and the movies to see the new Cinderella movie! It was a fun day.

I even got an email from Kara saying that "it was the best birthday ever!"

Aubree was in need of a bigger dresser... but in looking, we decided a new bed with drawers under it would be the better route to take, especially because of the size of her room..

She was on board and loved to be such a big help in designing and building! 

It turned out so good and she loves it...

I think she just went from a kid bed, to a teen bed!

February FUN

Another project is complete... I won't share how long it took, but the girls are excited to have new blankets on their bed. Their room is getting closer to being redecorated in owls.... now for curtains...

Happy Birthday to our baby! Hallie turned 7 on the 13th! She loved everything about her day. She got to open a few presents before school, had a great day at school, and when she was picked up, she was greeted by cousins! We had a fun evening out to dinner with Jodi, Mandy and the kids. Later it was cake and more presents. We spent a lot of time doing art over the weekend. The weather was so nice so we went to Star and played for a few hours, then came home to a yummy Valentine's Day dinner!

Sunday was nice and relaxing and the kids all looked so cute for church.

Never to old to learn a new talent! 

Drew was a great sport to be in the Parent Band for Aubree's band concert. They played 4 songs. He had to learn 6 six notes and was great at practicing to get ready for the big night! 

Aubree was a great instructor in helping him get ready too! 

Aubree really loves the flute and enjoys band! It will be fun to see how far she goes with this talent!
