Private!
After checking my stats today... there were more than 80 views just today... who in the world is looking at my blog??? and who in Canada??? I don't know anyone in Canada... So it is kinda creeping me out.... So I have decided that my blog will go private and only invited guests will see my blog... So if you don't think that I have your email, leave me a message and I can add you to my private list... So check your inbox in a week or so for an invite. - Heather
2013 Fourth of July Weekend
Happy Fourth of July..
Happy Birthday America!
The Young Reunion started on the 4th..
One of the first activities was doing just dance outside on gpa's old TV.
For some reason, just the girls participated... but it was super cute.
Friday the 5th, Drew took Kara and her friend Shaelynn to the temple to do baptisms for the dead. Kara had a great first experience and I am so glad Drew took her and was able to baptize and confirm her for sweet spirits that have been waiting for their work to be done...
We hosted the Friday activity with 52 people in our backyard/pool.
Everyone had so much fun.
The pool and backyard handled it all pretty well... The pool was a little murky after, but cleared up the next day...
To help with pool traffic, Gma did a "SPA" for the girls..
Yogurt facials, and painted nails...
Here is what lunch for 50 people looks like....
actually this ended up being lunch for 2 days because we only ate half of the 20 feet of sandwich.
Other activities for the weekend consisted of...
a picture scavenger hunt for the kids. They had about 15 red white and blue things around the house and property that they had to take pictures with.
There was also necklace and bracelet making, sand art, fireworks, and of course tons of food to eat!
Kara loved that Sydney liked her
Zip line fun...
We also had a talent show full of all kinds of talent.
We even talked Drew into playing his harmonica...
So thankful that we have so many fun memories from these past 2 weeks with our cousins!
YaY for summer!
