Swim Swim and Swim some more!

We really have enjoyed our pool this year! Dad got the chemicals and circulation going the end of April.. I told him it was a little early and was still too cold, but who could stop him... The girls took their first polar plunge on May 2... Still way too cold, but who could stop them.. They were in and out pretty quick, but had fun.
This summer, the girls have each had the opportunity to have friends over, and we hosted the Young reunion for a day at the pool with 50 people in the back yard.
Hallie has gone from swimming just in the shallow, to going anywhere and everywhere in the pool, including the diving board.
Brae has become an excellent diver, and mastered a front flip!
Kara and Aubree have become better swimmers and have come up with a few new games.
We taught swim lessons for two weeks in June. It was a little chilli, but things went great and I think we are already booked for next year!
So, sit back and relax, because here are a ton of pictures!

Summer is here

School is out and so let the fun begin... We had our first big swim with the Matthews. We are so glad to have this family in our lives! We swam, ate pizza, tossed water balloons, and really enjoyed each others company...
Grandma Great Young passed away, so we headed to Utah for the funeral. It was a very nice service and was good to see so much family. The girls loved getting to go thru gma's jewelry and got to bring some home of their choosing.
While in Utah we went to Lagoon for the day. The kids did great and had a blast. It was fun that Gma Jan, Jodi and the Middleton's were able to join us also. What a fun memory!
We were also able to go to the house that I grew up in. It is between renters and needed a little clean up. So we went to help gma out for a bit. It was fun showing the girls the player piano, and the wall marked with all our heights growing up... They each are taller than I was at their ages.

What is summer with out the Meridian dairy day parade??? It was a fun parade, milk and cheese included! We were able to meet up with the Matthews and hang with them for it.
The last picture is from "Camp Wanna giggle" The Matthews girls planned it all... A fun summer camp just for kids. Mask making, tie-dying, and games.
So glad to have my girls home for a few months to just hang and have fun!
