Braelyn's Baptism....

 We are so thankful for Kim and the darling pictures she captured of Brae in her dress...  I was able to make her dress with a lot of help from Grandma Pat. It was a tricky pattern, but we made it happen and I am so glad we did. Brae just loves her dress! 

We were excited to have G&G Roll, aunt Jodi, the Lucas' G&G Young, neighbors, friends from the ward, and fire family come to her baptism. It was great to have so much support from friends and family. We are so proud of Brae and her choice to be baptized. She knows what is right, and knows how important it is to follow her Savior Jesus Christ's example.  She is a light in our lives, and always makes us smile!

Look who is EIGHT!

Braelyn had a great birthday.. She had a great day at school and we planned to party when she got home... However when she got home, she banged her leg on the car door, which caused tears...

Hallie helped me make and decorate her owl cake. So, when she was okay and mostly tear free, we covered her eyes and brought her to the table... then surprise!  

Her reaction was so cute!

Just like her sisters, she got her big book of scriptures!

For her big gift, I found this cute old time desk.. 

She has been wanting a desk in her room for a while now... 

What is fun about this desk, is I had one just like it growing up. 

It is a little used of course, but she loves it.. 

We had it hidden over behind the bean bag. 

So we sent her on a quick scavenger hunt with clues, which gave us time to uncover it for the big reveal...

We then bundled up and went to the Matthews for dinner, dessert, and fire pit.. the kids had fun playing capture the flag while all the adults visited.

She was excited to eat one of the owl's eyes.
