Father's Day

Sunday June 16th was Father's Day and Drew spent the day at the station.
However he did have some very lovely ladies come visit and bring him a big surprise!
A cool box bench to put by the pool. It will be used to store all of the hoses and such for the vacuum.  OR...
It can hold 4 kids...

Happy Father's Day to the very best dad there is.
To be a dad of all girls truly takes something special.
We are so thankful for him in our lives !
I also have to mention how thankful we are to have Grandpa Roll, Grandpa Steve in our lives and how they are amazing fathers and grandfathers.
And a special thanks to my dad who watches us daily from Heaven..
Whom, I love and miss every day.
And most importantly our merciful and loving Heavenly Father whom has placed us here on earth in families and has a plan for each of us. A plan that leads and guides us so that we can one day be with our families forever!
So thankful for all the Fathers in our life!

Summer cuts

Hallie has been begging to cut her hair to her chin....
However, I love her with long hair, so we met in the middle...
She is loving her new style.

With Brae- I let her go short..
We have done short with her before, so I knew it worked good for her.
Perfect for summer..

With summer and good weather in full swing, we really have used the pool almost every day.
I have been working with hallie to build her confidence but still think she may need lessons from someone other than mom.
She got brave the other day and went off the diving board... but only because she knew she wouldn't go under with her life jacket and tube...

Then Brae and Hallie would go together.
So almost daily we smell of sunscreen and chlorine.. but that is what summer should be!

First camping trip of 2013

The week after the girls got out of school we planned our first camping trip. We headed up the Banks Lowman Highway to find  the perfect spot.  In between 2 great hotsprings there is an area that is free camping. There were only one other family camping there so it was nice and quiet.
The girls had fun exploring and found a fort that they had fun adding to.
The tranquility of being next to the river was nice.

We played a little base ball...
And once you make a swing you always make a swing.
Dad braved the freezing cold river for a quick bath...

The first night we made dutch oven pizza...
It was so yummy.. the crust was perfect... and is a new camping favorite. That night we has smores' but for some reason I didn't get any pictures of that.
The next night we made tin foil dinners in the fire, and cooked rolls and peach cobbler in the dutch ovens.  I think camping is all about what you eat sometimes...

 Dish duty..

Kara is the best pancake maker..
 Fun at Bonneville hotsprings

 Fun at Kirkham hotsprings

 Our night time entertainment...
Let's just say some one laughed until they cried.
