First day of school....
Last day of school...
Yep- they grew up a little bit!
Kara had a great 8th grade year! She served faithfully as the National Junior Honor Society President! She had an award assembly as received certificates for: a 4.0, 3.5-3.9 for all 3 years at MMS, Responsibility and Excellence!
She made the A team in VB, and also the A team for Tennis! She and her partner in tennis were 2nd in districts! Yippe! They were so fun to watch!
She also had a piano recital where she played "Imagine" by John Lennon
It challenged her, but she did a great job!
Kara also had and end of year choir Pop's concert. The theme for the girls was Wicked and Wizard of Oz. It was such a fun concert and all the girls were dressed like munchkins.
Kara had a huge solo (a bigger solo than I thought.. she kinda kept it a secret from us) from the song "For Good" from Wicked! She rocked it and made us so proud!
Way to go Kara!
now off to High School!
Aubree was so nervous to go to Middle School!
Totally different from the comforts of elementary... to 5 different buildings and a long class schedule of black and gold days to keep track of.
She took the challenge whole heartedly and did nothing but her best work!
She also achieved a 4.0 gpa and received two Pride awards for: Excellence and Perseverance!
She made the A team on tennis and ended up getting 3rd place in districts! YAY! It was so fun watching her play!
Braelyn had a great 3rd grade year! I
can't believe she only has 2 more years in elementary school. She loved
her teacher and always did her best. She had great growth in her state
testing and received Academic Excellence Award.
She
has been taking piano and is doing well so far! She decided to try out
of the talent show, and she made it in! She played Somewhere Over the
Rainbow! She did such a great job!
Way to go Brae!
Hallie
finished first grade with flying colors! She of course had the best teacher in the world! Mrs. T. She was given the Spree Award
from her little class graduation! She has loved making new friends and
has become a great little reader!
Like said before, she loved dance and was sad to see it end. For her last class, they were able to dress in any costume they wanted...
Kara and I were photobombed while trying take a selfie...
So May in a nut shell...
3 award assemblies, piano recital, talent show, 2 class graduations, dance recital, NJHS night, 16 year anniversary, Young Women's activities, plus the normal everyday things to take care of...
Yep, we are ready for summer!
Trek is coming up.. so we took these crazy Beehives to Table Rock to get their bodies in shape! It was a fun and beautiful morning!
