First Dance Recital!!!

It was more than past time for Hallie to have a turn at something.
So we chose Ballet!
To say she loves it would be an understatement.
She started in September and had her first recital in January. The Recital was All About Broadway, and her song was "Wouldn't it be Loverly" from My Fair Lady. It was a darling dance and she rocked it! At rehearsals she was very serious.. (it was her first time on a big stage, so a little scary too) But when it came time to perform for the audience, she was all smiles and had a blast! She did so good!
It was fun for Kara to volunteer to watch and be with the class back stage until it was her turn to dance. She loved her costume and really loved wearing stage makeup!

Biggest snowman on the block!

My cute new valentine pallet craft...

Christmas Vacation!

Just before Christmas I received a package in the mail from my brother Dallin. I was too excited to wait till, so we opened it up! Inside was a clam shell... What???
So we opened it up and inside were 2 beautiful pink pearls!
So COOL!
Also in the package was this adorable starfish necklace that opens up to hold the pearl!.
I love it and thank Dallin so much for this beautiful gift!
Now I just need to figure out what to do with the second pearl.

Photo op, selfie time with my little ones...

Christmas came a day early for us. As you know Drew's rotation doesn't always allow holidays off. So Christmas Eve morning we woke up and opened presents. One of the funnest things that happened was Grandma Jan and Grandpa Brad, sent the girls money. They requested that I place all the $ on the tree. Each girl had a different colored close pin, and they could only claim the money that was with their color. After collecting and counting our $, we opened gifts...
Our big family gift this year was a new flat screen TV.
The TV was of course too big for our current entertainment center, so Drew took of that real quick by bringing in the say and cutting it to size... Oh man...
It was a great day.
We then went to Star for a fun Christmas Eve Dinner with the whole Young Family.
Christmas Day we spent a little time in Star, then went to the station to eat pizza and play games with the other fire families!
Merry Christmas 2014!

For Christmas break the Lucas family came to town for 2 whole weeks.  (Darin and Sue also came, for a week or so)
It was so much fun having them here for Christmas.
We played, went bowling, ice skating, and were even blessed to have it snow on Christmas Eve, and then have it snow more so we could play in it!
Cousins are the best and we made great memories together!
Aubree was also able to go do Baptisms for the Dead in the temple with Drew and Kara for the fist time! She loved it!
